Moana 2 Teaser Trailer: Moana and Maui are back for another adventure across the vast sea

All aboard for a new voyage with Moana and Maui! Disney has unveiled a new trailer for the much-anticipated Moana 2. The more than one-and-a-half-minute-long video shows an older and wiser Moana embarking on a voyage after receiving an unexpected call from her ancestors.

The teaser trailer also confirms a new crisis unfolding as a challenge for the steadfast girl. Along with rooster Heihei and pet pig Pua, Moana joined with Maui is determined solve a crucial mystery regarding her life and the oceans.

Auli'i Cravalho, who lent her voice to Moana, will return for the sequel along with Dwayne Johnson, who gave voice to Maui.

Moana 2, according to Disney, will give the audiences "an expansive new voyage with Moana, Maui and a brand-new crew of unlikely seafarers. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she's ever faced."

Dave Derrick Jr. is directing the sequel, with music from the duo of Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, as well as Opetaia Foa’i and Mark Mancina, who worked on the first film.

Moana 2 will hit theatres in India on November 29, 2024.
