Fancy Dance Trailer: Lily Gladstone searches for her missing sister and preps her niece for a powwow

The makers of Fancy Dance, starring Lily Gladstone in the lead role, have released the trailer for the Apple TV drama. The film stars Gladstone as Jax, a woman who goes in search of her missing sister at the same time as she tries to help her niece, Roki (Isabel Deroy-Olson), get ready for a powwow. The film also has actors Shea Whigham, Deroy-Olson, Crystle Lightning, Audrey Wasilewski, and Ryan Begay. It premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, where critics appreciated Gladstone's performance. Erica Tremblay co-wrote, directed, and co-produced the film. Miciana Alise is the other screenwriter.

Tommy Oliver, Nina Yang Bongiovi, Deidre Backs, and Heather Rae are also part of the production team. Forest Whitaker, N Bird Runningwater, and Charlotte Koh comprise the executive producers.

The film will have a brief theatrical run starting June 21 and an Apple TV release on June 28 this year.
