Faye Dunaway, Andrew McCarthy, and Harvey Keitel are set to star in Fate, which is billed as a supernatural romance film. It is set to go on floors later this month. The makers are yet to disclose any details about the film's plot, but it reportedly draws inspiration from Quentin Tarantino's Vista Theatre in Los Angeles. The film, which has long been in the making, has Jonathan Baker as its producer and director. Baker told Deadline that “there is an excellent chance it will stand as one of the most memorable love stories of our time.”

Fate reunites Dunaway with Baker after Inconceivable, the thriller from 2017 that stars Nicky Whelan, Nicolas Cage, and Gina Gershon. Dunaway is also the subject of Faye, the HBO documentary that will premiere at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival, where she talks about her career.

Keitel is best known for titles such as Reservoir Dogs, Bugsy, and Pulp Fiction. He also stars in the ongoing Peacock series The Tattooist of Auschwitz.

McCarthy is most popular for films such as Weekend at Bernie’s and Pretty in Pink, as well as series like Good Girls and The Blacklist that he starred in and partly directed. Further, he plays guru Marpa in the Buddhism-inspired science-fiction drama Milarepa from Italian filmmaker Louis Nero.
