Singer Lizzo, who is facing a barrage of criticism online and offline over allegations of sexual harassment and for creating a "hostile work environment" by her former dancers, has written a post on her social media which had "I Quit" in it creating ambiguity about whether the singer meant social media or her singing career.

Lizzo was in the firing line ever since she performed at a fundraiser event of Joe Biden attended by former president Barack Obama and Hillary clinton. Her former dancers sued her over sexual harassment and creating hostile work environment. Following the suit, Lizzo in her Instagram statement said, "“I am not here to be looked at as a victim, but I also know that I am not the villain that people and the media have portrayed me to be these last few days. There is nothing I take more seriously than the respect we deserve as women in the world. These sensationalized stories are coming from former employees who have already publicly admitted that they were told their behaviour on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional.”

Celebrities like Paris Hilton, and Kiara Mooring came out in support of Lizzo after her post. "We love you Queen," Hilton Wrote. Mooring also commented under Lizzo's post saying, "Can’t let the haters win, Mama Lizzo. You are loved: keep going"

In her latest post, the singer said she "felt tired over putting up with being dragged by everyone." She went on to write, "All I want is to make music and make people happy and help the world be a little better than how I found it. But I'm starting to feel like the world doesn't want me in it. I'm constantly up against lies being told about me for clout and views … being the butt of the joke every single time because of how I look. My character being picked apart by people who don't know me and disrespecting my name. I didn't sign up for this shi*. I Quit."

Internet is simmering with speculations whether the singer meant quitting social media or singing altogether.
