Amid speculations that actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson will take over secret agent 007 from Daniel Craig after his exit with No Time To Die, former James Bond actor George Lazenby gave a thumbsup to the Tenet actor playing Bond.

While the producers are tight-lipped about the next Bond, rumours are rife that Taylor-Johnson has made the cut.

Lazenby, who played Bond in the 1969 film 'on Her Majesty's Secret Service', said Taylor-Johnson would be able to handle stunts.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson joined the long list of actors such as Idris Elba, Luke Evans, Theo James, Henry Golding, Tom Hardy, Richard Madden and Rege-Jean Page who were speculated to play Bond.

Pierce Brosnan, who played the secret agent 007 in four movies, took Cillian Murphy's name for the next Bond.
