Sarah Paulson to lead series adaptation of Untamed

Glennon Doyle's best-selling novel, Untamed is all set to be adapted into a Television series by Warner Bros. TV. The series is all set to be headlined by Sarah Paulson, and will be adapted by Krista Vernoff, showrunner of Grey's Anatomy and Station 19.

The rights to the book has been bought by Warner Bros and Bad Robot. Vernoff's husband and producing partner Alexandre Schmitt, Andrew Stearn, and Jessie Nelson will serve as executive producers.

Untamed is a memoir that revolves around, “the peace and joy we discover when we stop striving to meet the expectations of the world and start trusting the voice deep within us.” The novel came out in 2020, selling more than 2 million copies and spending seven weeks at No. 1 on the New York Times bestseller list.

Coincidentally, a Netflix limited series, under the title Untamed was recently announced with Eric Bana in the lead. Mark L Smith and his daughter Elle Smith are the writers of the series.
