Blumhouse's latest horror film Imaginary is set to release in Indian theatres on March 15.

Starring DeWanda Wise, Tom Payne, Taegen Burns, Pyper Braun, Veronica Falcón and Betty Buckley in the lead, the film is directed by Jeff Wadlow and is produced by Jason Blum and Jeff Wadlow. PVR INOX Pictures is releasing the film in theatres here.

Imaginary follows the story of a woman named Jessica who returns to her childhood home with her family and stepdaughter Alice. Alice finds a stuffed bear named Chauncey who seems ordinary until Jessica realises there is much more going on.

What should be a wholesome moment of nostalgia turns into a horror show when she discovers that Chauncey is inhabited by a vengeful spirit that resents Jessica for abandoning him. Chauncey has attached himself to Jessica's stepdaughter, Alice (Pyper Braun), and his plans for revenge will leave the innocent family haunted.

Bear McCreary has composed the music of Imaginary. He recently composed the score for the vampire film The Last Voyage of the Demeter and Freaky. Besides Blumhouse Productions and Jeff Waldow, Tower of Babble Entertainment has also produced this horror film.

The film will be releasing on March 8 in the US, UK and Canada, clashing alongside Kung Fu Panda 4, Love Lies Bleeding, Cabrini and Accidental Texan.
