Team Kalki 2898 AD heads to Italy for a song shoot

The cast and crew of Kalki 2898 AD, a futuristic sci-fi film helmed by Mahanati (2018)-fame director Nag Ashwin, have landed in Italy for a song shoot. The crew of the film, along with actors Disha Patani and Prabhas, are seen posing opposite an aeroplane. Kalki 2898 AD also stars Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. Nag Ashwin has recently mentioned in an interview that the world of Kalki 2898 AD, formerly known as Project K, will start in the era of Mahabharata and end six thousand years later, in 2898 AD.   Kalki 2898 AD is scheduled to hit theatres on May 9, 2024.

The film is produced by Chalasani Aswini Dutt, Swapna Dutt, and Priyanka Dutt under their family banner Vyjayanthi Movies. Santhosh Narayanan, who has composed music for the Nani starrer Dasara and more recently Saindhav, is the music director of Kalki 2898 AD. Polish Nation Djordje Stoljiljkovic is the film's cinematographer, with editing by Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao and production design by Nitin Zihani Choudhary.
