Netflix unveiled the trailer for their upcoming docuseries titled, The Man with 1000 Kids, on Tuesday. The three-episode docuseries is about Jonathan Meijer, a serial sperm donor who donated sperm to over a hundred families.

The trailer shows that Meijer was a charismatic man and so couples who couldn't give birth were more than happy to have his beautiful babies, through sperm donation. However, he lied to these families that he intends to only donate to a select few families, while he actually has fathered more than 100 babies through these donations.

The Man with 1000 Kids explores the struggles of parents affected by Meijer's actions, and the efforts of a lawyer, activist, and medical professional to prevent him. It dives deep into the widespread impact of Meijer's actions. It goes beyond the Netherlands, uncovering his sperm donations across multiple countries, continents, and even private arrangements, in addition to his involvement with 11 Dutch sperm banks.

The Man with 1000 Kids is backed by Curious Films and Rogo Productions. The team behind the documentary includes Dov Freedman, Natalie Hill, and Jessie Versluys from Curious Films, along with Alex Holder from Rogo Productions.

The Man with 1000 Kids will premiere on Netflix on July 3.
