The Inheritance trailer: Too much is at stake to inherit generational wealth

The makers unveiled the trailer for The Inheritance on Wednesday. Starring Peyton List and Bob Gunton in the lead, the horror thriller is helmed by Alejandro Brugués.

The trailer of The Inheritance shows Gunton, a 75-year-old billionaire inviting his estranged children over to his house, revealing to them that all their lives are at stake. If they survive the night, they get to inherit billions in generational wealth. But survival is not that easy as it is not a person but a 'thing' which is behind them to take their life.

The synopsis of The Inheritance reads, "A billionaire on the eve of his 75th birthday, invites his estranged children back home out of fear that tonight someone or something is going to kill him. He puts each of their inheritances on the line, to make sure they'll help."

The film also stars Rachel Nichols, Austin Stowell, David Walton, Briana Middleton, Reese Alexander, and Chris Wood. Chris LaMont and Joe Russo are the writers of The Inheritance which is all set to hit theatres on July 12.
