Mike Flanagan's The Life of Chuck starring Tom Hiddleston gets a first look image

The first look image for Tom Hiddleston's upcoming film The Life of Chuck, directed by Mike Flanagan has been released. The image shows Hiddleston in the role of Charles, the protagonist of The Life of Chuck. Hiddleston sports glasses and a simple suit, holding a coffee cup and pen in front of him. Text next to him reads "Charles Krantz. 39 Great Years! Thanks Chuck!"

The Life of Chuck is an adaptation of Stephen King’s one of the three interconnected stories of the author's anthology If It Bleeds. Besides Tom Hiddleston, the film also stars Mark Hamill, Chiwetel Ejiodar, Karen Gillan, Matthew Lillard, Harvey Guillén and Jacob Tremblay, Kate Siegel, Rahul Kohli, David Dastmalchian and Lauren LaVera.

The story starts with his death from a brain tumor at the age of 39, and works backwards toward his childhood as an orphan living in a seemingly haunted house.

Mike Flanagan will also be producing the film via his Red Room Pictures banner along with Trevor Macy under Intrepid Pictures. A release date for the film has not been revealed yet, but it will premiere at TIFF - Toronto International Film Festival from September 5 to September 15.
