
Netflix unveiled the trailer of their upcoming docu-series, Homicide: Los Angeles, on Tuesday. The five-episode series comes from executive producer Dick Wolf, known for Law and Order. The series has detectives, officers, and other members of the Los Angeles Police Department recalling horrifying homicides in Los Angeles, with a special focus on Hollywood.
The official synopsis reads, "Homicide: Los Angeles is a new docuseries that illuminates the stories of notorious murder cases as told by the people who know them best: the detectives and prosecutors who cracked them."
Wolf Entertainment has produced Homicide: Los Angeles alongside Alfred Street Industries. Executive producers of the project include Wolf along with Tom Thayer, Jane Lipsitz, Dan Cutforth, Nan Strait, Dan Volpe, and Adam Kassen.
The docu-series is slated to premiere on Netflix on July 16. Previously, Netflix unveiled Homicide: New York, which premiered on the streamer on March 20.
