Chloe Sevigny has signed up for After the Hunt, a thriller directed by Challengers fame Luca Guadagnino from a Nora Garrett screenplay. After the Hunt reunites Sevigny and Guadagnino following the series We Are Who We Are and the film Bones and All. She joins the existing cast, including Andrew Garfield, Julia Roberts, Ayo Edebiri, and Guadagnino's frequent collaborator Michael Stuhlbarg. The film is set to go on floors later this year.
According to its official logline, After the Hunt revolves around "a college professor (Roberts) who finds herself at a personal and professional crossroads when a star pupil levels an accusation against one of her colleagues."
Amazon MGM Studios is also part of the project, marking a reunion between the distribution house and Guadagnino after the recent Zendaya starrer Challengers. Guadagnino, Allan Mandelbaum, and Brian Grazer are also producing the film through his banner Frenesy, alongside Imagine Entertainment. Karen Lunder of Imagine Entertainment and Garrett will serve as executive producers.
Sevigny's most recent project is Fued: Capote vs. The Swans. Her upcoming projects include an adaptation of Françoise Sagan's novel 'Bonjour Tristesse,' the Javier Bardem starrer Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, and director Amalia Ulman's Magic Farm.
