Sony Pictures' upcoming shark film, starring Phoebe Dynevor, will begin production from July.
It has been finalised that the film will go on floors in the Australian city Melbourne. The confirmation was made by Creative Victoria and VicScreen. The film's team will avail Victoria state's Victorian Screen Incentive financing package which will inject A$30 million into the state economy and result in 700 job opportunities.
The thriller, director Tommy Wirkola, is backed by Adam McKay and Kevin Messick. Details of the film's plot are currently under wraps.
Phoebe Dynevor is most popular for her on-screen character as Daphne Bridgerton in the first two seasons of Netflix's hit Regency drama Bridgerton. Her other credits include The Colour Room where she played a real-life artist Clarice Cliff, Fair Play with director Chloe Domont, and Bank of Dave from Chris Foggin.
Dynevor's short film More Flames awaits a release and her thriller, Anniversary, directed by Jan Komasa is in its post-production stage.
