KAOS teaser: What happens when humans start defying Gods?

Netflix unveiled the teaser for their upcoming mythological comedy series, KAOS. The six-episode series starring Jeff Goldblum, comes from Charlie Covell, the creator of The End Of The F***ing World and the producers of Chernobyl.

The teaser shows Goldblum as Zeus who abuses his power to ensure humans fear him and pray to the Gods. On the other hand, we see some humans trying to defy the Gods, which comes with consequences.

KAOS will follow Zeus, the God of Gods, who has never faced a threat to his power until one day a wrinkle dares to appear on his forehead. As he starts getting paranoid about a prophecy about his downfall, he can only see things going wrong around him and embarks on a journey of self-destruction.

The extended cast includes David Thewlis as Hades, Janet McTeer as Hera, Cliff Curtis as Poseidon, Nabhaan Rizwan as Dionysus, Killian Scott as Orpheus, Aurora Perrineau as Riddy, Misia Butler as Caneus, Leila Farzad as Ari, Rakie Ayola as Persephone, and Stanley Townsend as Minos. In addition, the series will also feature cameos from Billie Piper and Suzy Eddie Izzard.

Covell is not only the creator but also the writer and executive producer of KAOS. Harry Munday serves as producer, while the directors are Georgi Banks-Davies and Runyararo Mapfumo. Episode 6 is penned by Georgia Christou.

KAOS is all set to premiere on Netflix on August 29.
