Consumed trailer: A survival thriller set in the woods

The trailer for Consumed, the upcoming horror survival thriller, was unveiled on Wednesday. Starring Courtney Halverson, Devon Sawa, and Mark Famiglietti in lead roles, the film is directed by Mitchell Altieri.

The trailer shows a couple celebrating their anniversary by camping in the woods. However, things go disturbingly wrong when they're attacked by an unseen monster. The official synopsis for Consumed reads, "A married couple taking a celebratory camping trip a year after Beth's cancer remission find themselves trapped between a wild madman and a skin-stealing monster."

David Calbert has written Consumed which will feature music by Kevin Kerrigan, cinematography by M.I. Littin-Menz and editing by Brett Solem. The film is all set to release on August 16.
