The Umbrella Academy Season 4 gets a new poster

Netflix dropped a new poster for the fourth season of The Umbrella Academy that features its principal cast. The upcoming season from showrunner Steve Blackman and director Paco Cabezas will premiere on Netflix on August 8. The fourth and final season went on floors earlier this year.

The Umbrella Academy is based on an eponymous comic book series, written by Gerard Way and illustrated by Gabriel Bá. Premiered back in 2019, it starts with forty-three unrelated women giving birth on the same day, despite not showing any sign of pregnancy before. Billionaire Sir Reginald Hargreeves (Colm Feore) adopts seven of those children in the hopes of using them to save the world. However, they become destructive for the world instead.

The ensemble cast of the show also includes Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Justin H Min, Colm Feore, and Ritu Arya, among others. Apart from Blackman, Jeremy Slater and Gabriel Bá serve as co-creators on the show. Steve Blackman, Mike Richardson, Keith Goldberg, Beau Bauman, Jesse McKeown, and Scott Stuber serve as executive producers.
