F1 Teaser Trailer: Brad Pitt pushes his limits in this high-octane racing thriller

Apple and Warner Bros. have launched the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Brad Pitt-starring film F1, a year ahead of its scheduled offshore release. Directed by Joseph Kosinski, known for his work on Top Gun: Maverick, the teaser introduces Brad Pitt as an F1 driver deeply entrenched in the high-stakes world of Formula 1 racing.

The teaser introduces Brad an F1 driver deeply entrenched in the high-stakes world of Formula 1 racing. In the teaser trailer, Pitt's character, alongside Kerry Condon who plays his engineer, engages in a gripping exchange focused on building a car designed for fierce competition rather than safety.

"We need to build our car for combat," Pitt's character asserts, emphasising the importance of outmanoeuvring rivals on the track's challenging corners rather than straightaways. Condon's character responds with concern about the safety implications, to which Pitt retorts, "Who said anything about safe?"

Set to the energetic beat of Queen's 'We Will Rock You,' the teaser showcases thrilling point-of-view racing sequences that give us a taste at the adrenaline-pumping action and inherent risks of the sport.

Joining Pitt is Damson Idris as his teammate, poised to challenge the giants of the sport in thrilling showdowns during the Grand Prix.

Apart from Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, the film also stars Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, and Samson Kayo. Legendary Formula One multi-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton is involved as a consultant and a producer under his Dawn Apollo Films banner. Joseph Kosinski is also on board as producer along with Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman of Jerry Bruckheimer Films. Pitt, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner are also producing for Plan B Entertainment.

The film is made in collaboration with Formula 1 and the F1 community, including the 10 F1 teams and their drivers, the FIA, and race promoters. Copper CEO Penni Thow serves as executive producer.

The film has real footages from this year's Grand Prix tournament. Warner Bros. Pictures holds the distribution rights for the film and has announced its release date: June 27, 2025, in North America, and June 25, 2025, internationally.
