The trailer of The First Omen, the upcoming prequel to the 1976 horror film The Omen, was released recently by the makers. Nell Tiger Free, Tawfeek Barhom and Ralph Ineson will headline the film.
The First Omen is about a young American woman who goes to Rome in order to start servicing for the god and church. However soon enough, she comes in terms with a dark and sinister force that haunts her beliefs and faith.
The trailer does not reveal the plot of how exactly the sinister force will affect the protagonist, but leads a terrifying premise.
The film is helmed by Arkasha Stevenson. The screenplay is written by the director along with Tim Smith and Keith Thomas from a story by Ben Jacoby. The First Omen is set to release on April 5.
