Jordan Peele says his next movie could be his favourite

Oscar winner Jordan Peele hints that his fourth feature film could be his “favourite movie” yet.

The “Nope” writer-director revealed on the podcast Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend that despite his next film being delayed due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, his “next project is clear.”

Jordan Peele's home banner Monkeypaw Production is producing another untitled animated film which is billed to be a horror/thriller. The animated film was previously set to release on September 27, 2024, but is now undated due to the Hollywood strikes.

On the Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend podcast, Peele said that 2023 had been “an interesting year” because “the writer’s strike had had me in a state of listening, and that’s where I need to be.”

“I do feel like my next project is clear to me,” said Peele, “and I’m psyched that I have another film that, you know, could be my favourite movie if I make it right.”

Not much information regarding the plot or premise of either film has been released. Peele's new feature film will be his fourth directorial. His previous three directorials are Get Out (2017), Us (2019) and Nope (2022).
