Todd Phillips shares new photos from Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga's Joker: Folie a Deux

Ahead of the much-anticipated release of Joker: Folie a Deux, director Todd Phillips shared new pictures from his upcoming film, starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga on the occasion of Valentine's Day.

On Phillp's official Instagram account, the director posted three images of Phoenix and Gaga. In the first photo, Phoenix and Gaga appeared to be on stage with the spotlight on them. Phoenix was seen sporting his Joker make-up. 

In the second photo, the on-screen couple appeared to be sharing a heartwarming moment. While Phoenix stood on one side of the bars, Gaga was seen on the other side. In the third still, Gaga and Phoenix were seen dancing on the rooftop. Gaga appeared to be wearing a wedding dress while Phoenix was suited up.
 
Penned by Todd Phillips and Scott Silver, the film will feature Arthur Fleck in Arkham Asylum where he falls in love with psychiatrist Dr. Harleen Quinzel, or Harley Quinn. Joker: Folie a Deux also stars Sophie Dumond, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, and Harry Lawtey

It is to be noted that the original film, Joker, secured 11 Oscar nominations and won Best Actor to Phoenix and Best Original Score.  Joker: Folie a Deux is slated to hit theatres on October 4, 2024.
