The 66th Grammy Awards took place in Los Angeles on Sunday. Taylor Swift won Album of the Year for Midnights, which made her the first person to win that category four times. She also won Best Pop Vocal Album. Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus won her first-ever Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance for Flowers. She won her second Grammy hours later, for Record of the Year.
Shankar Mahadevan and Zakir Hussain’s band Shakti has won the Grammy Award for Best Global Music Album. The award was given to their music album This Moment’. Percussionist Zakir Hussain and flautist Rakesh Chaurasia won the award for Best Global Music Performance. Their song Pashto, which was awarded, features American musicians Bela Fleck and Edgar Meyer.
