
Actor Ana de Armas might soon be joining the star-studded cast of the much-anticipated Avengers: Doomsday. Details regarding her role has still been kept under wraps.
Avengers: Doomsday will feature the comeback of Robert Downey Jr., known for his iconic role as Iron Man from the 2008 origin film to 2019's Avengers: Endgame. This time, however, he takes on a darker turn, portraying the infamous Doctor Doom.
The Russo Brothers are returning to direct a two-part Avengers film, Avengers: Doomsday, set for May 1, 2026 release, and Avengers: Secret Wars, set to release in 2027. The ensemble cast of the much-anticipated film also includes Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bacherach.
It has also been officially confirmed that Hayley Atwell and Anthony Mackie would be reprising their respective roles of Agent Peggy Carter and Sam Wilson.
Ana De Armas, who was last seen in Eden, directed by Ron Howard, is awaiting the release of the much-anticipated Ballerina, directed by Len Wiseman. It serves as a spin-off set between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and John Wick: Chapter 4. She is also set to star alongside Oscar Isaac in an upcoming drama series for Apple TV+. Carolina Paiz serves as the creator of the series which has been tentatively titled Bananas.
