The third season of The White Lotus promises to deliver a truly unforgettable experience for its guests, offering a holiday season filled with intrigue and unexpected twists.
The one-and-a-half-minute-long teaser features stars such as Jason Isaacs, Walton Goggins, Carrie Coon, Leslie Bibb, Michelle Monaghan, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and more, as they indulge in both extravagant partying and “stress-relief meditations” at what appears to be another luxurious White Lotus resort in Thailand. A Buddhist monk is heard saying in the trailer, “People escape pain in pursuit of pleasure, but when they arrive, they find only more pain.”
The dark comedy series comes from creator Mike White and is about the dynamics between the guests and employees of a fictional resort chain called The White Lotus. The first season premiered on HBO in 2021 and was set in Hawaii, while the second season was shot in Sicily and released in 2022.
The upcoming season, whose plot details are currently unknown, stars an ensemble cast including Carrie Coon, Michelle Monaghan, Charlotte Le Bon, Blackpink star Lisa Leslie Bibb, Parker Posey, Walton Goggins, Scott Glenn, Natasha Rothwell, Aimee Lou Wood, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Jason Isaacs, Christian Friedel, Dom Hetrakul, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Tayme Thapthimthong, Nicholas Duvernay and Arnas Fedaravičius.
