
Film and TV actor Jill Jacobson, known for acting in TV series such as Star Trek: The Next Generation and Falcon Crest, died in Los Angeles on December 8. She was 70.
Her publicist Daniel Harary confirmed the actor's death, saying she succumbed to a "long illness," according to Variety.
Born in 1954 in Texas, she has starred in series like Crazy Like a Fox, Arliss, Quantum Leap, Who's The Boss?, Newhart, After the Storm and Murphy Brown. She has also starred in short films like Boredom and Mic Whore. Her film credits include Splash, Bad Georgia Road, Baby Sister and Forbidden Love.
Apart from her on-screen credits, Jill Jacobson has also made multiple stage appearances and stand-up comedy programmes at The Comedy Store and The Improv.
Jill is survived by husband and actor Paul Dorman and their three children.
