
The Indo-British production Bloodline is slated to release in theatres across the country on January 24, 2025, in English, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. The film, which had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, is directed by Temple Productions and JoJo George from a screenplay they wrote with its actor Adrianna Edwards. Besides Edwards, the film stars Suanne Braun, Abbas Alizada, JoJo George, and Hannah Minnock.
Set against the lush woods of Kerala, the film is billed as a "gripping emotional journey of guilt, redemption, and justice." Bloodline follows Bella (Edwards), a determined cop from Sydney, Australia, who goes in search of her missing sister to the forests in South India. There, she discovers a dark secret related to an ancient family curse. According to the makers, it combines action, adventure, supernatural elements.
The film has cinematography by Najeeb Khan, music by Philip Curran, action by National Award winner Mafia Sasi, as well as production design by Ashams Omassery and Kannan Sheegag.
