New footages of the John Wick spinoff Ballerina has been released along with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the upcoming film with voices from producer Chad Stahelski, Ana De Armas, the late Lance Reddick, director Len Wiseman sharing their experiences. Ana De Armas is shown training for the high-octane action sequences while slashing villains through ruthless methods on screen.
The official description of Ballerina reads, "Taking place during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3—Parabellum, Ballerina follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas), who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma."
The initial filming for Ballerina started in the latter phases of 2022. The film comes under the larger John Wick series, which Chad Stahelski oversees alongside producers Erica Lee and Basil Iwanyk. For those unfamiliar with the Keanu Reeves-starrer, Stahelski helmed all four John Wick films.
The Ballerina cast also includes the late Lance Reddick, Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Norman Reedus, and Catalina Sandino Moreno. Further, the legendary Ian McShane and John Wick star Keanu Reeves are part of the film in small roles. Ballerina is slated to hit the big screen on June 6, 2025.
