
Asa Germann, known for his roles in Prime Video series The Boys and its spin-off Gen V, has joined the growing cast of Scream 7. His role is currently under wraps.
He joins the previously announced cast members Isabel May who portrays the daughter of Sidney Prescott and Celeste O’Connor whose role has not been revealed yet.
There have been multiple changes in the cast and crew for Scream 7, including the exit of Christopher Landon as its director. Since then, Kevin Williamson, the creator of Scream and the screenwriter of the 1996 Wes Craven directorial that launched the franchise, has been directing the film from a Guy Busick screenplay.
The 2022 Scream reboot's James Vanderbilt, Paul Neinstein, and William Sherak are producing the film under the banner Project X Entertainment. The makers are yet to disclose its plot details.
Scream 7 is slated for a February 27, 2026, release through Paramount Pictures.
In The Boys and Gen V, Germann portrays Sam Riordan, a super-strong "supe" who was experimented on at the secret Vought facility, The Woods. He was also featured in the hit 2022 biopic series Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.
