Ocean's actor Scott L Schwartz dies at 65

Actor Scott L Schwartz, who is well known for playing Bruiser in the Ocean's franchise, breathed his last at his LA residence. He was 65.

His family says that Schwartz passed away, reportedly due to a long illness, on November 26.

Born Scott Leslie Schwartz, on March 16, 1959, in Philadelphia, first chose professional wrestling as his vocation and got on the ring with names such as "Joshua Ben-Gurion: The Israeli Commando", "Giant David" and "Igor the Giant". He later ventured into films as both a stuntman and a villain.

He made his acting debut in the film Shock 'Em Dead in 1991. He has several other films to his credits like Savate (1995), High Voltage (1997), Bridge of Dragons (1999), The Black Rose (2000). Schwartz shot to fame with his role in Ocean's Eleven in 2001, he went on to reprise his role in Ocean's Twelve in 2004 and Ocean's Thirteen in 2007. That apart, he has also starred in films like Fun with Dick and Jane, The Scorpio King and Starsky & Hutch.

He has to his TV credits Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Martial Law, Nash Bridges, Angel and The Mentalist.

Schwartz is survived by his wife Misty, children Angela and Adam, and mother-in-law Brenda. He also has Sherry and Duwayne, aunt Penni and her children and famillies.
