Rian Johnson, the director of the upcoming Knives Out installment, Wake Up Dead Man, revealed that the film wrapped up shooting. Johnson directed the first two films of the franchise, Knives Out (2019) and Glass Onion (2022).
The films follow private detective Benoit Blanc, played by Daniel Craig, as he investigates murder mysteries. Like the first two films, Wake Up Dead Man also stars an ensemble cast that includes Josh O'Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church.
Recently, the makers released the look of Craig's character from the film, where he looked older than he did in the first two installments.
While the first film was a theatrical release, Netflix bought the exclusive rights to the two sequels. Wake Up Dead Man is expected to premiere on the streaming platform sometime next year. Johnson and Craig have hinted that it would be Benoit Blanc's "most dangerous case yet."
