Actors Daniela Melchior and Eric Andre have landed roles in Amazon MGM Studios' upcoming film Balls Up. Melchior is reuniting with the production house after her stellar performance in the Road House reboot.
The duo will join the previously announced cast list, which includes actors Mark Wahlberg, Paul Walter Hauser, Molly Shannon, Eva De Dominici, and Benjamin Bratt.
Balls Up will revolve around American marketing executives (Wahlberg and Walter Hauser) who undergo termination after losing out on a major sponsorship deal. Soon, their drunken acts land them in further trouble, with people across the country hunting them down.
The screenplay for Balls Up comes from the duo of Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, known for their work on Deadpool & Wolverine. Dana Goldberg, David Ellison, Don Granger, and Andrew Muscato of Skydance will produce the film, alongside Wernick and Reese.
Balls Up, directed by Peter Farrelly, is the fourth collaboration between Amazon MGM Studios and Skydance Media after their sports drama Air, The Tomorrow War, starring Chris Pratt and Michael B Jordan's Without Remorse. As for Farrelly, it is a reunion with Amazon MGM Studios following Ricky Stanicky, starring Zac Efron, John Cena, Jermaine Fowler, and Andrew Santino.
