Disney makes several changes to its calendar, adds 11 new projects for 2027
Disney updated its official calendar and claimed 11 release dates in 2027 for several unnamed projects from the Disney as well as Marvel, Pixar and Disney's Animation studio.
Earlier, there were only two movies that were mentioned for that year which were Avengers: Secret Wars on May 27, 2027, and an untitled Star Wars movie for December 17, 2027.
Now, the newly added released dates are an untitled Marvel film on July 23, 2027, and one on November 5, 2027. There is also an unnamed Pixar film for June 18, 2027 and a Disney animatated film for November 24, 2027.
Along with them, there are multiple other untitled Disney films for August 8, 2025; September 12, 2025; February 12, 2027; March 5, 2027; April 2, 2027; May 28, 2027; August 6, 2027; September 17, 2027; and October 8, 2027.
The main change that was made in the slate for this year was changing the release date for Jesse Eisenberg's A Real Pain to November 1 from October 18. In 2026, two Disney movies have been moved to an earlier dates. One to August 7, 2026 and another another to September 11, 2026.
One Marvel film scheduled for July 24, 2026 and a Disney film set for release on March 7, 2025 have been taken off the official calendar.
Interestingly, Marvel's Blade release date has remained unchanged for November 7 even though the film currently has no director.
Recently, the makers of Fantastic Four announced a change to their upcoming film's title Fantastic Four: The First Steps which hits theatres on July 25, 2025 and Avengers Doomsday set to release on May 1, 2026. Along with Doomsday, Marvel also has untitled films slated for February 13, 2026, and November 6, 2026.
