More episodes added to CW's All American season six

Season six of CW's sports drama All American has been expanded with more episodes.

The broadcast television network which is jointly run by CBS Corporation and Warner Bros, has announced that more episodes will be added to "flesh out story better and bring it to a satisfying conclusion," according to Deadline.

All American series is inspired by the life of professional football player Spencer Paysinger, whose character is named Spencer James played by Daniel Ezra. The series was first streamed in 2018.

The official plotline of the series reads, "When a star high school football player from South Central is recruited to play for Beverly Hills High School, two separate worlds collide."

The five seasons of the series starred Daniel Ezra, Bre-Z, Greta Onieogou, Samantha Logan, Michael Evans Behling, Cody Christian, Karimah Westbrook, Monet Mazur, Taye Diggs, Jalyn Hall, Chelsea Tavares and Hunter Clowdus. However, Diggs and Clowdus are unlikely to return for the sixth season.

The series is executive produced by showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, John A Norris, Jameal Turner, Mike Herro and David Strauss.

All American comes from Berlanti Prods., Warner Bros. TV in association with CBS Studios.
