Netflix sets premiere date for final season of Sweet Tooth

On Wednesday, Netflix announced the premiere date and unveiled the teaser trailer for the third and final season of the Emmy-winning series, Sweet Tooth. All set to premiere on June 6, the series has also added Kelly Marie Tran to the series' cast as a regular.

Sweet Tooth tells the story of Gus, a half-boy, half-deer child, who ventures out into a post-apocalyptic world after his father dies. Protected by a gruff wanderer, Gus encounters wonders and dangers as he searches for a new beginning, all while being hunted by those who see hybrids as the cure to a deadly disease.

In season three, after winning a big fight, Gus and his friends head to Alaska. They're on a mission to find Gus's mom, who's been researching the strange sickness that wiped out most of humanity.

The cast of Sweet Tooth includes Adeel Akhtar, Stefania LaVie Owen, Aliza Vellani, Naledi Murray, Marlon Williams, Christopher Sean Cooper Jr., and Yonas Kibreab. James Brolin will provide the narration. Cara Gee, Ayazhan Dalabayeva, Rosalind Chao, and Amy Seimetz are also part of the cast.

Jim Mickle, Susan Downey, Robert Downey, Jr., Amanda Burrell, and Linda Moran are the executive producers of Sweet Tooth which is produced by Warner Bros. Television.
