Keanu Reeves joins voice cast for Sonic The Hedgehog 3 

Keanu Reeves will lend his voice to Shadow in the third part of Sonic The Hedgehog from Paramount Pictures, according to a report from The John Campea Show. Ben Schwartz leads the ensemble cast as the titular character Sonic. On the other hand, James Mardsen is reprising Sheriff Tom Wachowski, Sonic's human ally, and Jim Carrey is playing his mad scientist character Dr Robotnik. The franchise started with 2020's Sonic the Hedgehog and continued with a sequel two years later. Jeff Fowler is also coming to don the director's hat for Sonic The Hedgehog 3, which is slated for a December 20 release.

The first part follows the hedgehog Sonic as he tries to escape from captivity by Robotnik and the government with the help of sheriff Tom. In Sonic The Hedgehog 2, the titular character tries to keep Robotnik and Knuckes from furthering their villainous plans by getting the Chaos Emeralds.

The other future works of Reeves include Good Fortune from Aziz Ansari and the John Wick spinoff titled Ballerina.
