It's a wrap for Scout Taylor Compton's Mickey Rourke-starrer Beyond the Law

Production for the Mickey Rourke-Peter Facinelli starrer Behind the Law was completed the other day, according to a Deadline report. An action thriller, Behind the Law marks the directorial debut of actor Scout Taylor Compton, who is best known for 2007's Halloween retelling. A Hillin Entertainment venture, the film is produced by Carolina Brasil and Daemon Hillin.

The film follows a homicide detective at the helm of an LA task force that tries to thwart the efforts of a criminal organisation. Nicky Whelan, Danielle Harris, Leah Pipes, and Brendan Fehr round out the cast.

Josh Ridgway wrote the film based on a Daniel Figueiredo story. Figueiredo is also co-producing the film. Ryan J Francis, Jen Kaput, Tyler Gallant, Josh Ridgway, Jordan Dykstra, Gregori J Martin, Jack Haldrup, Don Homsher, Brandon Blum, and Kimberly Hines comprise the executive production team.
