We know that the second instalment of Chris Hemsworth starrer Extraction is gearing up for release on June 16. Earlier this week, the actor had already spoken about his wish for a potential third instalment. As the buzz revolves around the possible chances for Extraction 3, the latest update is that a third adventure featuring Chris Hemsworth as Tyler Rake is already in development.

In Brobible's Post-Credit Podcast, Sam Hargrave, who helmed the first two instalments, confirmed that a third part will roll if Extraction 2 gets a good reception," Fingers crossed, if people enjoy the second one, there already is — and this is without spoiling anything — but there is a story in development for a third movie in the works. What it is exactly, I can't say right now, but I believe there is another adventure in the wind for Tyler Rak," says Hargrave

Written by Joe Russo, based on the graphic novel Ciudad by Ande Parks, Extraction 2 is produced by Joe and Anthony Russo's AGBO. At the time of its release, the original Extraction became the most-viewed original film premiere on Netflix.

Besides Chris Hemsworth, Extraction 2 also stars an ensemble cast including Golshifteh Farahani, Adam Bessa, Daniel Bernhardt, Tinatin Dalakishvili, and Justin Howell, among others.
