Oscars 2023: The Whale wins for Best Makeup and Hairstyling

Adrien Morot, Judy Chin, and Anne Marie Bradley won the Academy Award under the category of Best Makeup and Hairstyling for their work in The Whale. The award ceremony was held on Monday.

Accepting the award, the trio thanked their team for making it possible and conveyed their gratitude to the lead actor of the film Brendon Fraser, who played the protagonist in The Whale.

Directed by Darren Aronofsky, The Whale is a psychological drama based on the play of the same name. The film is about a reclusive English teacher who suffers from morbid obesity and trues to mend his relationship with his teenage daughter.
