The trailer of the fourth and final season of Netflix series Sex Education was released by the makers on social media on Tuesday. The season will premiere on September 21.

The trailer of the fourth season shows the major characters trying to reconnect to their love lives, as they overcome the teenage troubles and make discoveries of their sexuality and preferences. Meanwhile, there is another sex therapist in the campus, as Otis’ mother grapples being a new mother once again. Friendships blossoms, relationships change and much more takes place in the trailer.

In the finale of Season 3, Moordale students received news that they must seek education elsewhere. Consequently, Otis (Asa Butterfield), Eric (Ncuti Gatwa), and their peers enrolled in Cavendish Sixth Form College, which is vastly different from Moordale. Concurrently, Maeve (Emma Mackey) embraced an exciting opportunity in the United States. Back home, Otis and Jean (Gillian Anderson) acclimated to life with a new addition to their family.

The fourth season sees a lot of casting shifts in the series as many from the earlier cast announced their departure. Emma Mackey who plays Maeve, Ncuti Gatwa who aces the role of Eric and many others including Rakhee Thakrar, Simone Ashley, Tanya Reynolds and Patricia Allison have said their byes to the show.

The show also has major casting shifts as a new addition to the cast, including Jodie Turner-Smith, Dan Levy, Thaddea Graham, Marie Reuther, Alexandra James, Anthony Lexa, Felix Mufti, and Imani Yahshua.

The fourth season will follow the journey of the students in the new school and will be the final season of the show that was first released on the platform on January 11, 2019.
