Netflix has announced an upcoming, yet-to-be titled docu-series which will focus on the British pop icon Robbie Williams. The four-part documentary will release later this year.
Robbie Williams is an English singer songwriter, who gained his fame for being part of the group Take That. He also released solo albums and has received many awards. The 36-second clip shows the various sides of the icon, both good and bad, which has flourished and made his career fall down.
The series will focus on the highs and lows of Robbie Williams, including his addiction, breakup and reunion with Take That, and use footage from interview archives to tell the story of the icon. Directed by Joe Pearlman, the show is executive produced by Asif Kapadia and Dominic Crossley-Holland.
A release date for the series is yet to be announced.
