Marvel Studios adjusts TV show release calendar amidst ongoing strikes

The Marvel Studios TV shows have become the more cherished and watched content from the MCU, ever since the end of phase three. While the MCU audiences await the release of the second season of Loki, the production house has altered the slate for upcoming TV releases due to the ongoing Hollywood strikes.

Among the shows that have received new release dates are Echo and Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, which were supposed to premiere in 2023, but are now pushed to early 2024. While the Hawkeye spinoff will now be released in January 2024, the Wanda Vision spinoff gets more delayed, slated for Fall 2024.
Joining this list is X-Men '97, which will also debut in early 2024.

There's good news for those awaiting the release of Loki S2. The series will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar, as planned, on October 6. The animated series What If…? is also on schedule, as it will debut for Christmas this year.

Daredevil: Born Again faces the brunt of it, as the series featuring Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio reprising their roles has been halted indefinitely due to the strike, and may not be revived at all.

The writer's strike began May 2 while the actors went on strike July 14, significantly impacting production and development.
