The first look of the upcoming live action Snow White film was released by Disney recently. The film is set to hit the big screens on March 21, 2025.
Starring actor Rachel Zegler in the lead role, the upcoming film will be a re-imagined version of the popular fairy tale and Disney's 1937 animated feature. The tale centres around the titular character, who escapes the wrath of her stepmother and gets rescued by seven dwarfs. Gal Gadot is set to play the stepmother with Ansu Kabia and Andrew Burnap playing prominent roles.
It is to be noted that Rachel will be the first Latina to play the fairy tale character. The actor has earlier mentioned that the upcoming version will have less of romance and concentrate more on Snow White as a leader.
The film is directed by Marc Webb, with a script by Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson.
