The Atomic Kid fame actor Elaine Devry passed away at her home in Grants Pass, Oregon. The actor was 93.
Devry was additionally known for A Guide for the Married Man, and several other television series. In November 1952, she tied the knot with actor Mickey Rooney in Las Vegas. She was reportedly the actor's fourth of eight wives.
It is to be noted that the actor's demise happened on September 20, but the news has surfaced only now. The cause of her death remains unknown.
Born as Thelma Elaine Mahnken in 1930, Devry debuted with A Slight Case of Larceny in 1952 along with her husband Mickey. She simultaneously features in an episode of General Electric Theater, the CBS anthology series hosted by Ronald Reagan.
In 1954, she plays nurse Audrey Nelson alongside Mickey's Barnaby Waterberry in The Atomic Kid helmed by Leslie H Martinson. She was referred to as Elaine Davis in the film's credits.
Some of her other known works include China Doll, Man-Trap, The Last Time I Saw Archie, The Boy Who Cried Werewolf and Herbie Rides Again, among others. She is survived by 2 children.
