Netflix has released a set of first looks from its upcoming live-action series Avatar: The Last Airbender. The show will debut sometime in 2024.
The cast of the series includes Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, and Dallas Liu. The first season will consist of eight episodes.
The series revolves around four nations who were harmonious with master of four elements, Avatar keeping peace. However when Fire Nation attacks and wipe out Air Nomads, in comes Aang, a young Air Nomad, and the last of his kind, who comes to reclaim his rightful place as the next Avatar.
Albert Kim will serve as the show runner and executive producer of Avatar: The Last Airbender, along with Jabbar Raisani, Dan Lin, Lindsey Liberatore, and Michael Goi.
