Orlando Bloom to lend his voice for Peppa Pig's 20th anniversary special

Actor Orlando Bloom will be guest starring in the upcoming 20th anniversary special of Peppa Pig franchise. The actor will be lending his voice to a new character, jeweler Mr Raccoon, who will be helping with the wedding preparations of Mr. Bull and Mrs. Cow. Titled Peppa Pig Wedding Party Special, the special will consist of three parts.

“Orlando is an extraordinary actor, dad and philanthropist, and we’re proud to have him join the Peppa roster just in time to celebrate the brand’s 20th anniversary next year. With this captivating moment in Peppa entertainment, along with the many other projects we have in the works across consumer products, partnerships, location-based-entertainment and more, we’re providing fans across the globe with endless ways to celebrate Peppa throughout the year," said Olivier Dumont, president of eOne’s Family Brands, in a statement.

The anniversary special will also feature Katy Perry's voice in the character of Ms Leopard. The special is slated for release for spring 2024. The duo's voice recording has been completed.
