Trailer of Madame Web is here

Sony Pictures Entertainment released the trailer of Madame Web on Wednesday. Featuring Dakota Johnson in the titular role, Madame Web has a stellar ensemble including names like Sydney Sweeney, Emma Robers, Zosia Mamet, Tahar Rahim, and Mike Epps.

The trailer starts by establishing that Cassandra Webb (Dakota Johnson) is a paramedic who has developed psychic and clairvoyant abilities. She is tasked with dealing with her past and surviving along with three other young women with a powerful future, while also fighting a villain.  

Madame Web, directed by SJ Clarkson, and written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, will be an origins story for the character. 

This is the first time Madame Web will appear in a live-action film. Madame Web is slated for a theatrical release on February 16, 2024.
