Final trailer for The Marvels is here; hints significant MCU cameos

As The Marvels is gearing up for a release this Friday, the upcoming film's final trailer has been released.

The last trailer begins by showing us glimpses of Tony Stark, Captain America, and Nick Fury in flashback scenes, highlighting Carol Danvers' ( Brie Larson) journey as Captain Marvel. The trailer also provides a sneak peek of Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), implying that there will be several other significant MCU cameos.

Here is the trailer

The Marvels is directed by Nia DaCosta, the first black woman and fourth woman to helm a film in the MCU. The director co-wrote the screenplay with Megan McDonnell, Elissa Karasik and Zeb Wells.

The official synopsis of The Marvels reads: "Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani) and Carol's estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris). Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe."

Besides the lead characters, the film also stars Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, and Saagar Shaikh.
