Ali Fazal shares BTS from the sets of Kandahar

Actor Ali Fazal's latest Hollywood film Kandahar releases in the US on Friday. The film, directed by Ric Roman Waugh, also stars Gerard Butler in a prominent role. On his Instagram handle, Ali Fazal shared some behind-the-scenes glimpses of the film. 

By sharing some of the pictures taken during the shooting of the film, the actor wrote on Instagram, "Behind some greatness is always a director orchestrating it all. Kandahar hits hard today. North America. I cannot thank you both enough. Ric, for bringing me on board this journey. And Mr Gerard Butler, for all things notorious on and off camera… (and much more) and to the entire crew of Kandahar on sets and offsets. You, people, are the real heroes”.

Ali Fazal plays the role of Kahil in the film. The film was shot extensively in the Al Ula region in Saudi Arabia. Kandahar is expected to release in India in a few weeks.
