The trailer of Flamin Hot, the upcoming film was released by the makers on Friday. The film is helmed by Eva Longoria in her maiden directorial venture.
Flamin Hot follows the story of Richard Montanez, someone who worked as Frito Lay janitor and went on to become the founder of famous snack of Cheetos. The trailer shows the development of snack and retelling of the chain of events. The film has its premiere at South by Southwest in March this year.
Richard was born in California and faced a rough childhood and worked as a labourer. Subsequently, he went on to work as janitor at Frito-Lay where he began to experiment with flavours and came up with Flamin' Hit Cheetos.
The film is written by Eva along with Linda Yvette Chávez and Lewis Colick, with Federico Cantini attached as cinematographer. The music is scored by Marcelo Zavros. The film's cast comprises of Jesse Garcia as the protagonist, along with Emilio Rivera, Annie Gonzalez, Matt Walsh, Tony Shahhoub among others.
