Tom Hiddleston, Mark Hamill to star in Life of Chuck 

Tom Hiddleston and Mark Hamil have been cast in an upcoming film, Life of Chuck, which is a screen adaptation of renowned writer Stephan King's short story of the same name from an anthology If It Bleeds. The adaptation will be scripted and directed by Mike Flanagan, who previously helmed Doctor Sleep and The Haunting of Hill House.

Mike Flanagan will also be producing the film along with Trevor Macy under the banner of Intrepid Pictures. 

The Life of Chuck consists of three interconnected tales that narrate the life story of Chuck Krantz in reverse. The first story starts with his demise at the age of 39 due to a brain tumour, while the last one depicts his childhood experiences in a house that was rumoured to be haunted. Hiddleston will be playing the titular character, and Hamil playing the character's grandfather, Albie. 

Meanwhile, Tom Hiddleston, who is best known as Loki of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has plenty of other acting credits in his name, including, The Night ManagerCrimson Peak and Midnight in Paris, among others. 

Mark Hamill is best known as Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars film. The actor was last seen in Netflix's Sandman and will star in Sony's upcoming The Machine.
